Welcome to my world! Welcome to my homepage, my blog, my work, my life… my story:

My friends call me Zigeiner (Engl.: “gypsy”; Esp.: “gitano”) because I am always somewhere else, doing something different. I enjoy living my life while leaving the dreaming to others. I get things done. I don’t regret – rather doing it better next time. 

I call myself Zigeiner because I am a student of life. I keep on moving, I keep on learning – ready to make new mates, ready to listen to your story and always ready for some serious good times.
My passion is cultures, people, languages, adventure, the outdoors, some serious (rock) climbing and I get bored if things are not challenging enough. I don’t like Italian football. I hate the word “hate”.

I’m also German. Well, almost… I am Bavarian! With the consequence of being over-organized, always on time, straight forward, hard working, I wear funny leather pants and of course, I drink a lot of beer.
I have studied, worked, climbed and travelled in over 80 countries, mostly by my own, only with a backpack and on a tight budget.
