Rock climbing in Rio de Janeiro
Since Huaraz (Peru), after exactly 7 months and 19 days, I am back on ROCK!

And some easy “warm up” climbing: 46 °C during the hottest days Rio had seen in over 50 years…

Mission accomplished: Finally, after sitting out almost 2 weeks of torrential rain me and Stav, an Israeli climber I met months ago in Peru, climbed the West Face of Pão de Açúcar. The route: Italionos / Secundo What a wonderful day and even better route:-) Left: Me relaxing on a ledge half way up, checking the course of the next pitches |
